Jessica Steen

 

Jessica Steen is a Canadian actress in both television and film. She is known for her performances in Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future, Homefront, Earth 2, Armageddon, Left Behind: World at War, NCIS, Flashpoint and the CBC series Heartland.



 



 Personal life



 Jessica Steen was the daughter of Joanna Noyes (an actress) and Jan Steen (an actor and director). Steen is Dutch and Scottish descendance.



 



 Steen is also an animal rights activist and environmentalistin addition to her business in entertainment. Steen is a supporter of David Suzuki, the World Society for the Protection of Animals and the Western Canadian Wilderness Committee. She is a certified diver, and is proficient at a variety of circus arts - including stilt-walking and fire-twirling.

Then her middle name was changed to Claire. Man Shun ("Horace") Ho is her father.
